What is acupuncture good for?
Acupuncture and other aspects of Chinese medicine are effective in treating chronic pain of all types, from migraine headaches to sports injuries, as well as a wide range of illnesses such as common cold or flu, arthritis, depression, PMS, diabetes, asthma and digestive disorders.

How many treatments are needed?
The number of treatments can vary depending on the individual, the severity of the disease, and how long it has been present. The patient should, however, see noticeable results in the first one or two treatments with a marked improvement or disappearance of symptoms by the tenth treatment.

Often, patients come for treatments once or twice per week while a specific condition is being addressed with a gradual reduction to once or twice per month. Some patients come in once a season to boost the immune system and maintain good health.
